The first stop on its tour throughout the USA, this exhibit presents the work of Brooks + Scarpa, one of the most innovative and celebrated architecture and design practices in the USA who are described as “working at the intersection of fine art and socially responsive, progressive design.” The content of Ordinary and Extraordinary has been selected from more than three decades of work and includes 150 rarely seen models, original sketches and drawings, 3D visualizations, and short films about the designers and their designs. Get an unprecedented look at the design process and the power of innovative ideas, especially those that have changed the conversation and execution of design. Brooks + Scarpa have addressed some of the most pressing issues of our time, building cost-effective ‘green’ structures, creating community in urban environments and focusing on design solutions to climate change.
